Are you a licensed company?
Yes of course. As we are based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, our Private Hire Operating License has been provided to us by the Welwyn Garden City & Hatfield Council.
What areas do you cover?

How can I book a ride with Elite Drivers Hertfordshire?
Booking with us is very easy. You can book through our user-friendly online platform, by email or by simply calling our dedicated booking line - at 01707527111. Choose the method that suits you best.
How far in advance should I book a ride?
While we strive to accommodate last-minute bookings, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time and vehicle type, especially during peak periods.
How can I track my ride?
You can track your ride in real-time through our GPS tracking system. Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive updates on the driver's location and estimated arrival time.
Can I set up a corporate or individual account?
Yes, we offer corporate and individuals accounts for people that require frequent transportation services.
Contact us to discuss your travel needs and the advantages of opening an account such as priority on bookings, cars, drivers, monthly payments and many other things.
Can I modify or cancel a booking?
Yes, you can modify or cancel a booking. We understand plans change and we’re here to accommodate you. As we are working on a pre-booked basis, the work is getting sent out to the drivers the evening before the job (at around 19:00) so any last minute cancellations may have a big impact on their schedule.
That’s why, as per our cancellation policy, there will be no charge if notice to any changes is given with 12 hours in advance. However, for notice given less than 12 hours in advance we shall charge an extra 50% of the total cost and add it on top.
For notice given less than 6 hours in advance, we’ll have to charge an extra 100% of the total cost and add it on top.
Does Elite Drivers Hertfordshire notify me when my car arrives?
Yes, your driver will text you once they have arrived. We don’t knock on people’s doors and we don’t ring any bells without having special instructions given by our clients to do so.
If you have any particular requirements, please let us know upon booking.
Can I book rides for corporate events or special occasions?
Absolutely. Our chauffeur services are suitable for corporate travel, weddings, celebrations, and more. We tailor our service to meet your specific requirements.
Are young children considered passengers?
Yes, all children are considered passengers.
Can you supply child seats?
Yes. We can supply child seats for all age ranges. Please let us know what kind of seat you require, based on the age of your child.
Is Elite Drivers Hertfordshire COVID-19 compliant?
Yes, we prioritize the safety of our passengers and drivers. Our vehicles are regularly sanitized, and our chauffeurs adhere to recommended safety guidelines.

What age will my car be?
Our luxurious vehicles are less than 3 years old.
Does my car have free Wi-Fi?
All our cars come with hotspot Wi-Fi.
Do you provide phone chargers?
Car chargers for Samsung, iPhones and other mobile phones are available on request.
What types of vehicles do you offer?
We offer a large range of executive and luxurious vehicles suitable for various occasions. Our fleet consists of high-end vehicles such as E Class Mercedes, S Class Mercedes, V Class Mercedes, Mercedes VITO (9-seater), BMW 745 LWB Series, Tesla X. But this is not all. If you are looking for some other models such as a Range Rover, Jaguar, Audi A8 or maybe even a large executive minibus (16-seater), please get in touch with us and we’ll do everything possible to organise a car perfect for you.
Do you operate a non-smoking policy?
Absolutely! If you are a smoker, please advise your chauffeur if you require smoking breaks.
Do you provide bottled water in the vehicle and antibacterial wipes?
Yes, we provide complimentary bottled water in our vehicles and ultra soft antibacterial cleansing wipes.
Do you allow eating on board?
Water is allowed for consumption in vehicles, but we do not permit eating.
Chauffeur and driver FAQ
Are your drivers trained and professional?
Absolutely. At Elite Drivers Hertfordshire, it’s all about people. We believe that personality can’t be photoshopped and that’s what’s make us special and different from the others. We hardly use subcontractors at all because we have a dedicated team of drivers who are only working for our company.
That’s why, once a client has started using our services, they won’t search for another company, as they always see the same familiar faces every time and they feel safe and special. It’s like having their own personal chauffeur.
We pride ourselves on offering a first-class professional service and that’s all our driver’s merit. They are not only skilled drivers but also trained professionals, capable of speaking multiple languages who prioritize safety, courtesy, a high standard of service and the privacy of our clients.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
Our drivers will monitor the flights and after 20 minutes upon landing, they will enter the arrival hall and will text you in order to let you know their position. The meet and greet procedure is a must have for us. We are using name boards and tablets. All bookings include 60 minutes of waiting time upon landing, free of charge. After that, a fee of £40.00 per hour will be applied to cover parking costs and the driver’s time.
If my flight is arrives early will my chauffeur be there?
Yes, our chauffeurs monitor all flights from the ground, and do their best to arrive early.
What should I do if my flight is seriously delayed and I don’t have updated flight details?
Your chauffeur monitors your flight and they will make sure to be there waiting for you, once you have landed. If the flight is seriously delayed and you have requested one particular driver, it may be the case where we won’t be able to send that particular driver as we have to swap jobs around and replace the initial driver.
Our office is always one step ahead and will make sure to have a driver waiting for you at your arrival, no matter how badly delayed your flight is. If for any reason you experience additional delays at baggage pick up or customs, we’ll have to charge waiting time per hour, after the first 60 minutes of waiting time, upon landing, which are free.
There are some extremely rare cases where the flight can’t be found on any of the platforms we use for some reason so please try as much as you can, to keep us updated. The power of our company stays within our staff: the office and the drivers, and we are proud to say that our reputation is immaculate.
The two team up and always put the client’s needs first. No matter how bad your day was, your still on safe hands with us and we’ll make sure that after all the stress caused by the delay, you’ll travel in a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable way.
What happens if my flight details change?
Please call or email us and we will update your booking with the new flight details.
Will my chauffeur talk to me?
All of our chauffeurs are courteous and polite at all times. If you have any questions and or requests for your chauffeur, they will be happy to respond. At the same time, if you want a quiet journey, please advise the driver. If you have any preferred radio station or any preferred temperature, just let your driver know and they will be happy to accommodate your request.
Will my chauffeur help me with my luggage?
Yes, your chauffeur will always assist you in carrying your luggage.
Do you have female chauffeurs?
Yes we have. At Elite Drivers Hertfordshire we are promoting diversity and equality. That’s why is important to us to have both male and female chauffeurs.
Pricing and tariff FAQ
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept both cash and debit/credit payment, including American Express card payments for your convenience. We can also email you a secure payment link, you can pay in the car or you can call and we can take payment over the phone. All you must do is just choose the method that works best for you.
Will I be charged for tolls, parking, congestion zone?
We will include all the costs in your initial quotation so no hidden costs will arise during or after your journey. Your initial quotation is your final price, as long as the information provided to us is accurate.
Are your prices fixed?
Yes. The prices are fixed for pre-booked transfers. But if there are any additional drop-offs, pickups or passenger requested diversions, there will be additional charges.
Do you charge extra for Christmas and New Year Day?
Yes, we do charge double the amount for 25th ,26th, 31st of December and 1st of January.
Do you reward regular clients?
We value your business and we do offer discounts for repeat clients and multiple vehicle bookings. Please speak to our team about this.
